He left the home at 14 with his two little sisters when both his parents were killed 1905. <br />I love history and collecting stories from the past... It's just part of history.Ann Xhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05989502496573493374noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-258819865846405845.post-85380309062908387802012-06-11T20:58:52.829+02:002012-06-11T20:58:52.829+02:00I love this story. My great grandparents left Lithuania in 1895 and came to the states through Ellis Island. They weren't a talkative pair and kept their stories from their past a secret. I often wonder why they didn't share. Since they were the only link we had to our family history, I'll never know. Someday I hope to return to trace my family name. Thank you for sharing your stories.Orange Crumpled Napkinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04055834177618192244noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-258819865846405845.post-31630858795229144752012-06-10T20:32:33.988+02:002012-06-10T20:32:33.988+02:00Diane, I have quite a collection of old family tal...Diane, I have quite a collection of old family tales, and I have plan to share a bit - some are so crazy leaving TV soap roducers look pale :D I only wish my English would be better to tell them in full colours.Ann Xhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05989502496573493374noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-258819865846405845.post-91891438700423183922012-06-10T20:17:59.397+02:002012-06-10T20:17:59.397+02:00what memories for your family xxwhat memories for your family xxDiane-crewehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13879911622708138774noreply@blogger.com
